The second round of the Libyan Premier League's final-six stage delivered dramatic results, with Al-Sweihli and Al-Nasr emerging at the top of their respective groups after crucial victories.
Al-Sweihli maintained their lead in Group 1 with a 3-1 win over Al-Olymbi at Al-Jamil Stadium, reaching six points — two ahead of Tripoli rivals Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly Tripoli.
Al-Ittihad kept pace with a 2-1 victory over Al-Madina in Misrata, while Al-Ahly Tripoli secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Al-Ittihad Al-Misrati through captain Hamdou Elhouni. Both teams sit on four points.
Group 2 produced the round's most dramatic moment when Al-Nasr came from two goals down against Al-Hilal to win 3-2 in stoppage time. Tunisian midfielder Saed Bakir converted the decisive penalty to send Al-Nasr to four points at the top of the group.
The result was helped by Al-Ahly Benghazi's 2-1 defeat to Al-Akhdar in Al-Marj, thanks to a late goal from the Sudanese winger. Both Al-Nasr and Al-Akhdar are now level at the top of Group 2.
Meanwhile, striker Hamza Al-Derai led Al-Ittihad Al-Askari to their first win with a 1-0 victory over Al-Afriqi.
The Libyan Football Federation's competitions committee has announced the schedule and venues for the third round:
Group 1:
- Al-Sweihli vs. Al-Ittihad (Tarhouna)
- Al-Ahly Tripoli vs. Al-Madina (Al-Khoms)

Group 2:
