Salary Scale for Enlisted Soldiers and NCOs
The new salary table establishes clear pay grades for the lower ranks that form the backbone of the military institution. Recruits undergoing basic training receive a starting salary of 800 Libyan dinars per month, while fully enlisted soldiers earn a base pay of 1,620 dinars.

The maximum salary in the new scale belongs to the Marshal rank, set at 12,850 Libyan dinars per month, creating a pay ratio of approximately 7.9:1 between the highest and lowest ranks.
Special Provisions for Martyrs' Families
A key component of the new law grants families of martyrs, prisoners of war, and missing personnel monthly compensation equivalent to 150% of the fallen service member's rank salary. This provision aims to honor the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for the nation.
The Ministry of Defense under the Government of National Unity also adopted salary increase procedures for military personnel under its jurisdiction.
